While some educators may argue that minimal classroom setup is suitable for upper elementary students, others, myself included, believe that decorations can indeed enhance the learning environment. Colors and pictures can contribute to the overall atmosphere of the classroom, providing visual interest and potentially aiding in learning.
As an educator, I find it important to create a space that is engaging and inspiring, and that is why I believe in incorporating artistically-relevant decorations into the classroom. The simple expression of art alleviates one’s spirit.
