What’s your all-time favorite album?
I specifically like music albums by Mattia Cupelli and Yiruma. They were initially introduced by my brother when he was learning to read musical scales for playing a guitar. He would harmonize and build up guitar tunes with these music.
The beauty of these albums that attracts me is the build up of notes; the progression paints vivid pictures in the mind and stirring emotions within the heart. There is something stirred in the brain as the notes play, and gets you illuminated somehow. There is a certain power in the melody that seems to ignite the imagination, illuminating the mind with each note.
In ancient times, music was not simply a form of entertainment; it held a sacred, spiritual quality that permeated the walls of temples and places of worship. The music of David’s psalms, the lively jingle of the tambourine, and many other forms of musical expression were not merely for pleasure, but also for reflection and devotion.
The tones, the harmonies, and the rhythm of music have long been considered a gateway to the soul. They have the power to transport the listener to a state of contemplation and reverence, elevating the mundane to the divine.
