Musings on Feeling out of Place
As others quenched their thirst with drinks of frosty iced,
this soul chose a steaming cup of coffee, undeterred by the summer’s heat
In a vegan store, barbecue sauce I sought in vain,
A misfit request, going against the grain
A path diverged, art class was my choice,
While others opted for sports and games, a youthful noise
The sea’s salty kiss, my longing unquenched,
but my friends beckoned for the trails of mountainous trench
here’s a veterinarian, in a clan of teachers.
