I don’t need to follow the trends
I have changed the way I think about keeping up with friends. This is because I often felt out of place when my friends talk about the movie platforms they paid for and the recent movie releases they are eagerly waiting for. It has been going on like this for quite sometime, so I decided to also find something recent. I decided to follow through “Gyeong Sung Creature”, so I can at least say, I have something trendy.
I expected so much from the second season of Gyeong Sung Creature, but was quite disappointed. I guess there are intricacies of the previous season that seemed downplayed in this new season. Firstly, I like Park Seo-joon for his acting craft and talent. In addition, I find the sentimentality of the bond between characters and the flow of the stories somewhat phantasmagoric, and it builds my interest. I am not a fan of sci-fi, but I got interested with this genre after watching the first season. However, that seems to shift. Specifically in the new season, there are so much fighting scenes in dark backgrounds, and the fight scenes last for the whole episode. My eyes get sensitive over images like this, so I hardly follow. Also, there was so much twist added, that makes it more complicated but others may find it a distinction.
As the saying goes, “simple is often best,” and perhaps this notion can be extended to our personal experiences. This experience had me change my perspectives on being up to the trends or simply just not to feel out of place. Reflection upon life’s tribulations reveals that feeling out of place is a universal human experience. However, allowing the fear of not fitting in to dictate our choices may lead to a sense of dissatisfaction in the long run. Authenticity in ourselves is an essential cornerstone to finding happiness, and learning to embrace our unique qualities is a step towards embracing our true selves. In conclusion, standing out rather than blending in may be the key to unlocking personal contentment.
It is foolish and shameful to answer a question without fully comprehending the situation first. Proverbs 18:13
