The Dance of Raindrops: A Reverse Poem About Waiting for Sunshine

It’s a dreary day indeed,
The sun’s hiding from my need,
I cry out, “Why oh why?”
Raindrops dance in the sky.
“Where art thou, my sunny friend?”
I ask, my clothes left to fend.
Clouds waltz and nature’s in charge,
My damp robes aren’t getting large.
Patiently I wait for a ray of light,
A sunny day to make things right.
But the rain keeps on falling,
My hopes are stalling.
Reverse poetry is like a two-faced coin. Read it from top to bottom and you get one meaning. Read it from bottom to top and you get a whole different story!
