My life on earth has a purpose

“I love you to the moon and back”, lovers say to each other. But literally, none of them goes to the moon to prove “love”.

I shall launch no rocket to the moon,
I’ll stay right here, where my soul belongs
a trip to the moon, not my heart’s glow
the wonders of life, here on earth flow
my purpose, friends, and my family beside
no need to spend on a lunar ride,
treasures I’ve found in life abide,
wisdom, survival, a love I cannot hide,
all here brings memories to hold
unravel them daily, is a deed I should
to live, to learn, to explore life on earth

I am not interested in going to the moon, so that I do not need to pay for that. I would rather save or spend it for something that makes a lasting impact. So far, I have realized the purpose of my life on earth. This land is where I have met wonderful friends. I have gotten to know good acquaintances here. I have learned wisdom, navigated survival, and embraced my humble family in this place.

At night when the moon comes out, I adore its beauty and the light it reflects. But it was not the dream. Living the life on earth is already challenging. Why would I risk more to reach a place I’m so uncertain about?
