What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever found (and kept)?
Being careful in keeping things
When we find something and pick it up, we usually say, “whoa, thieves”! It means that someone found it first, so they get to keep it.
• On the other hand, we don’t usually keep things we just found anywhere and picked it up. People often claim ownership of found items. However, our cultural beliefs suggest that these items may carry negative spiritual or ritualistic associations.
• I also learned something about this when I visited Japan. Japan’s culture encourages leaving misplaced items untouched to aid their retrieval by the original owner.
• The decision to keep or discard found items involves moral and ethical consideration. But if it is a good luck charm, I would think otherwise.😆
