A sentimental poetry
It’s wrong, but I can only say it is correct
It’s bad, but I can only say it is good
It is an error, but I can only say it is right
In failures, I say success
In darkness, I say light
In disturbing noise, I say a healing peace
I watch them get hurt
I watch them taken advantage of
I watch standing like a statue
I watch as if I am mute
passive, heartless, lacking compassion
I have become, unfortunately
For I am made numb
HE will come and save me from these waves.

I’m tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface
I don’t know what you’re expecting of me
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
Every step that I take is another mistake to you
(Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow)
I’ve become so numb, I can’t feel you there
Become so tired, so much more aware
I’m becoming this, all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you— Numb, Song and Lyrics by Linkin Park
