Figuratively Speaking

Wild animals are rare in the city, unless you wish to visit a zoo or an animal safari.

I see wild animals, figuratively. Although it may sound strange to some people, the truth is we describe behaviors of other people as wild animals.

Howler monkeys are loud, they don’t let others speak and fail to take turns in conversations.

Chameleons come as angels, but devils in disguise.

Leeches are academically challenged, they survive by sucking on others.

Giraffes are proud of themselves, they hardly bow down.

Snakes are crafty and clever, but never a friend or an ally.

Let’s be discerning of wild animals among us.
