What makes humanity

On a busy afternoon after work, my friend exclaimed, “I am tired. I need my cats. I wanna go home now!”

If I have a pet, I would let him understand “empathy”. I think they can give much of that when they fully comprehend it.

Unlike some of our fellow humans, empathy comes with a great cost.
