I am forged in the fiery blaze,
A cuckoo’s cry in sorrow’s haze.
With every breath, I rise and soar,
My wings ignite, the woodland will roar.
Through searing heat, I will take flight,
And scorch this land with endless might.
If you choose to stay and fight,
You’ll burn, dissolve, and lose the light.

I set my eyes on you, so near,
But you just offered a fleeting stare.
From afar, I seem a bird of paradise divine,
But my wings are flames that twist and shine.
Gases weave through every flight,
Hydrogen pulses, burning bright.
Helium flows within my chest,
A breath of stars, I soar, I crest.

You sought my embrace, a moment so true,
I cheered for you with a heart that grew.
But after that, all feels lost, unclear,
Where is your heart? Where’s your soul, my dear?
How long will you hide, behind your disguise?
Leaving me to wonder, beneath empty skies?

My eyes glare, with fire’s bright blaze,
Striking like lasers, in a fiery haze.
What if I search for you with this sight?
What if my gaze unveils your darkest night?
What if my eyes pierce through your soul’s door?
Oh, man of diamond, show thyself more!
