What’s something most people don’t understand?
A coin has two sides
I bet you have seen that image of two people standing in opposite sides, looking at a number. Depending on the angle, the number could be seen as a number “6” or a number “9”.
Our diverse background formulates our opinions. Most people will not understand unless they are standing in our angle. Just like a coin, it has two sides. Yet, both sides contribute to its value. So if people are standing on the opposite angle, they would think your opinion does not count.
We are often marginalized because most people don’t understand where we are coming from. An effort to navigate all angles gives us a better perspective.
