Mother’s Day Reflection

To celebrate Mother’s Day, an acquaintance tried to arrange a video tribute. The tribute was for all the mothers in our small community. We were asked these questions:

What’s one thing your mom has done that you’ll never forget?

If you could tell your mom one thing to your mom and to all mothers, what would it be?

The questions did not bother on the onset until I started crafting my responses. It made me realize the impact of my mother’s influence and seeing other mothers alike my mom.

We honor mothers; a fountain of care, guidance and support. “Mothering” is not just biological. This idea extends beyond the family to the whole community.
