Religion vs religious sect

James 1:27

” Pure and undefiled religion before God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their tribulation, and for a man to keep his soul without defilement the world.”

I want to practice this kind of religion, not religious dogmas practiced by the pharisees.
