Cheers, hellos, and heartfelt hugs,
welcome aboard with bags and mugs.
We set to sail through rain’s encore,
a toast to life beneath the pour.
Unpack the needs, ignite your drive,
in seconds, rhythm comes alive.
With taps and slides, with waves and sways,
the beat commands, the body plays.
My instincts stirred, I raised a glass,
a gentle sway, the moments pass.
The skies let loose with dancing rain,
twirled through joy, through wind, through strain.
But mid the pulse, the rhythm’s grace,
a whisper floated through the space.
A cloud, uncertain, sharp and strong,
my mind asked, “What is going wrong?”
I didn’t puff, I didn’t seek,
but someone’s haze brushed past my cheek.
My senses reeled,they say “Titanic”
my head grew light, it was hypnotic.
“Just dance,” I said, “Just go along,”
shake off the smoke, stay with the song.
They cheered in madness, wild and loud,
I held my breath and faced the crowd.
At last, the vessel found the shore,
as rain turned mist and fell no more.
Though clear of mind, my soul confessed,
I left that ship, my morals messed.
