We dined with laughter, worries long gone,
Where I was drawn in, included, carried along.
They asked what I liked, with teasing and play,
endless nonsense and my smiles brightened your day.

It made you smile watching my laughter unfold,
by the pool, playful moments, stories retold.
I sat as you faced me, laughing in sync,
sharing my life in the moments we’d link.

You smiled when I smiled, never wearing a frown,
you laughed when I laughed, wouldn’t let joy fall down.
You’d disagree softly when I said no,
always in rhythm , wherever we’d go.
