Making Your Words Live Through The Power of Writing
Big changes are a collection of small changes. So, it’s alright to begin with small changes. I want to change the mindset I grew up with. I believe that our limitations are only in our minds. With the right mindset, we can achieve anything we set our minds to.
Our written words shows that even if our voice isn’t being heard loud enough through speech, our message can still be powerfully communicated. “Pen is mightier than sword.” The power of your written words can endure for generations. Unlike spoken words, written words can be revisited and passed down through time. For this reason, I choose to blog and write to speak louder.
I have seen that in a world where ambition can often breed malice, envy masquerades as friendly competition, and the whispers of the envious seep like poison into the ears of the naïve. It can feel like your voice is silenced, your truth strangled, and your potential destroyed. But remember, your words are yours to wield, for they cannot be taken from you. Let’s not fear being denied validity or dismissed, for this is not the end of your story.
“Yan kaano ak ngen garud ay mankali nu baken ed dwani?“
Then when shall I speak if not now?
What better time than the present to make our voices heard? In a world overtaken by breakneck pace, where moments seem fleeting and opportunities quickly slip away, is it not imperative to seize the day and speak our truth, lest it be lost forever?
Writing can have a power and reach that goes beyond speaking. It’s a way to make sure your message is heard loud and clear, even if others are muting your speech. If not here, where shall we speak? For time and place, like a restless tide, shift and change with each passing moment. And so, if not now, if not here, when and where shall our voices be heard?
So let’s keep sharing our truth, we keep writing, and don’t underestimate the impact of the words each of us can write on to the world. Our speech may be silenced, but not our words. We write them and our words shall live. Our story, forever heard.
By your words you will be declared innocent, or by your words you will be declared guilty. Matthew 12:37
