In 2012, “The Hunger Games” movie rocked the screens for its creative combination of action and sci-fi genres. I think this movie is full of symbolisms which are referring to the the real things in our modern society.

It’s fascinating to think about how the past can shape our present, and how much of history might be distorted or misunderstood. It’s almost like we’re in the Hunger Games, unaware of our own role in shaping the world. Over thousands of years, humans have evolved and learned from past mistakes, but sometimes it seems like we’re still repeating the same patterns. Despite what history has taught us about the struggles of our ancestors, many would argue that we’re now living in a more free and equitable society. But, what if history is just a collection of subjective accounts, and the truth is more complex?

It seems like we’re all unknowingly caught up in this game of survival, with food as the ultimate prize. We’re the players in this game, and the companies and institutions we work for represents the capitol. The competition is fierce, with gossip, pretenses, and envy ruling the day. Even when we think we’re doing well, someone can just toss us aside. It’s a never-ending struggle.

The bottom line is that, for the sake of survival, we’re all players in this game. Our coworkers may not all be easy to deal with, but we tolerate it because we need to eat and make ends meet. Breaking the rules can have severe consequences – a figurative death in the workplace. While not all companies or institutions are the same, the struggle for survival and advancement in the workplace can often feel like a “game,” with a constantly shifting set of rules and fierce competition between colleagues. This can lead to unethical behavior and cutthroat tactics. Yet in the face of this struggle, we have to strive and persist because we don’t want to jeopardize our significant others.

So, if I have so much power, I would change this idea of a “Hunger Games” in the society. While it may not be a reality for everyone, it’s important to recognize the potential for unethical behavior and competition to arise in the workplace. To survive and thrive in this environment, we need to remain steadfast in our principles and vigilant in our interactions with others. By maintaining our integrity and refusing to engage in harmful behavior, we can emerge from this metaphorical “game” as victors, both personally and professionally.
