Asters, Morning Glories & Love
As September is waving goodbye, I thought of posting something relevant to the birth flowers of the month: aster and morning glory. They are symbols of powerful love and affection. Here’s a poem of dedication.
Love like asters and morning glories
In the morning light, your beauty shines bright,
Your flowers, they trumpet the day’s arrival,
A sign of life’s resilience, survival.
A wonder to behold all day long.
But when night falls, your color fades,
A gentle reminder of how light pervades.
Yet still, your spirit remains unfazed,
A promise of tomorrow, a new blaze
starburst arrangement of bright petals
though you’re small, your radiance is royal
You, my flower, shine like a star in the night.
Your yellow center, a radiant light,
Your scent, it’s sweet, enchanting,
An invitation to nature, a floral trance dancing.
Your presence, it pollinates,
all around the garden, it invigorates.💙
