when he retreated, it’s not the fear of them,
he looked cold and weak, condemned by hem,
misanthrope, nonchalant in every theme,
uncaring and selfish, that’s how he’d seem.
yet beneath the bright lights, sharp and keen,
and radiant streaks of his diamond sheen,
where rainbows are born without rain clouds,
and spectrums meet face to face in crowds,
is deep sorrow, a bleeding wound,
of loss, defeat, injustice that loomed,
selfish decisions and careless words,
echoes in air like thunder in herds.
they separated her, away from him,
the lady with a pen, her light grown dim,
whose narratives twisted, tortured with horror,
unfounded accusations that endlessly bore her,
unjustly pinned with a scarlet letter,
her truth erased, though she knew better,
is ushered to despair and pain,
for they want her slain.
it tore hard, it bleeds, it’s suffocating air,
the man of diamonds held anger there,
he wanted revenge, he wanted to burn,
all those who took her, for which they’d learn.
her precious partner he carefully chose,
he failed to protect as the dark wind rose,
he failed to keep what he held so tight,
now she is caged and stripped of her right.
bound to be thrown away, cast aside,
while he must replace her, bury his pride,
the agony creeps at night,
she’s disappearing in sight.
there is so much anguish in his heart,
he wanted to scream, but fear tore apart,
the thought of seeing her trapped in a cage,
disposed against will, silenced in rage.
even the best diamonds could not save her fate,
nor brilliance undo what was sealed by hate,
he is desperate for justice,
but only given no ease.
hear his plea, the man of diamonds cries,
set her free beneath open skies,
give her justice so she may heal,
let her write what is truly real.
to anyone reading this epistle indeed,
the man of diamonds is in need,
she is trapped, she is suffering still,
her sorrows are breaking his iron will.
will she receive justice,
did you know she is a daughter of grace,
the father above is watching,
recompense is coming with pace.
hurry, help the man of diamonds,
so the fury will not be on you,
reunite her with the man of diamonds,
so his soul will find redemption true.
